Terms and conditions

You will automatically receive an order confirmation containing details of your order and information about your right of return and right of claim. You can always find the valid sales and delivery terms on this page.

Prices

All the prices given for delivery in Denmark are the valid retail prices inclusive of VAT at 25%.

Payment method

You can pay using Dankort, VISA/Dankort, VISA, VISA Electron, Mastercard/Eurocard or JCB.
When you pay by card, we only withdraw the amount from your account when we dispatch your goods.

Delivery methods

Your order is dispatched using Post Denmark.

Delivery turnaround

Normal delivery turnaround is 2-3 working days. The turnaround for certain posters may be longer, but no more than 14 days. If you order more than one poster the order is sent as one consignment when it is ready.

Delivery costs

If you want goods delivered to an address in Denmark the delivery charge per order is DKK 60, regardless of the size of the order. NB: Shipment is free for purchases worth more than DKK 1,000. The cost of delivery to Europe is DKK 100, and DKK 135 to the rest of the world.

Right of return

According to Danish law, you have the right to return the item you have purchased within 14 days of receiving it. If you return any goods they must be in basically the same condition as when you received them, preferably accompanied by a copy of your invoice. You can cancel a purchase by:

1) refusing to accept the item
2) transferring the item to the post office service, or
3) returning the item to the specified address.

You are responsible, as a consumer, for paying the delivery charge for returning the item to Designposters.com. If the returned item meets the specified requirements you will receive a cheque for the amount paid.

Right of claim

You have 2 years to submit a claim. If you unfortunately receive an item which does not match your order or is damaged, you must submit a claim within a reasonable time of noticing the shortcoming. If you submit a claim within 2 months this is regarded as being an appropriate period of time. Claims may be submitted by telephone on +45 3379 0415 or via e-mail to info@designposters.com. You can exercise your right of claim by sending the item back. We will obviously pay for your shipping costs if you need to return an item to us because it is the wrong one or damaged.

Small print

Agreements entered into with Designposters.com are in Danish.
In any transactions you may have with Designposters.com, the general rules on the sale of goods and contracts under Danish law apply, including the rules on consumer transactions. As a consumer, you are therefore protected by the applicable legislation in this area, i.e. mainly the Danish Sale of Goods Act and Consumer Agreements Act.

Exclusion of liability

Designposters.com can only be held liable for what is stipulated under Danish law. Just like any other posters, they can lose their colour if they are exposed to direct sunlight. The ideal method is to stick the posters onto a piece of cardboard or foam. If they are inserted directly into a clip-on picture frame they may curl up or slip down. The colours on the posters may vary from those shown on the website.

Disputes

Any dispute between Designposters.com and a commercial entity is submitted for settlement to the Maritime and Commercial Court in Copenhagen.

Handling of personal data

Information concerning your name, address, telephone number, etc. is handled in complete confidence and is used to dispatch your order. According to the legislative requirements for commercial businesses’ accounts, we are obliged to keep your personal data for five years. Credit card details are supplied through Designposters.com to PBS via a secure, encrypted SSL connection and are not saved by Designposters.com. Personal data is transferred to Designposters.com in unencrypted form. Personal data is saved by Designposters.com in a database on a secure server, which cannot be accessed directly from the Internet. We will obviously not pass your personal data on to any third party. According to the Danish Personal Data Act, you have the possibility of inspecting and objecting to the information held about you.
